Delphyr is a AI-powered platform to improve clinical decision-making for doctors and nurses. Our goal is to save doctors' time, improve patients' outcomes, and reduce hospital costs. We are mission-driven company based in Amsterdam and are at the forefront of deploying artificial intelligence in the healthcare industry in the safest and most ethical way possible. Our mission is to unburden doctors to deliver the best care possible to patients.

We're looking to support a young and talented master students who'd like to intern in our Data Science Team

What You'll Do

• Own features end-to-end: from ideation and experimentation to deployment and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with users (clinicians, admins) to understand workflows and translate needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Build intuitive and performant web-based applications using modern technologies and architectures.
• Use cutting-edge AI tools to boost personal and team productivity and effectiveness.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve product usability, data quality, and clinical workflow integration.
• Balance speed and discipline: ship fast, but with an understanding of safety, traceability, and regulatory implications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleague, including clinicians, designers, and compliance experts, to deliver solutions that are useful, safe, and ethical.

Who you are

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• You're a curious and driven aspiring data scientist with a strong desire to apply your skills in real-world settings, ideally in fast-paced or collaborative environments like startups or research teams.
• You think like a problem-solver: you're iterative, pragmatic, and eager to deliver value through experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.
• You're developing fluency with modern data science tools and technologies such as Python, Jupyter, SQL, pandas, and visualization libraries.
• You have a basic understanding of machine learning workflows and are excited to deepen your knowledge through hands-on experience.
• You embrace AI tools to boost your productivity-whether for code prototyping, data exploration, research, or summarization.
• You're proactive and comfortable operating in evolving environments. You ask questions, seek feedback, and iterate quickly.
• You're motivated by real-world impact and care deeply about improving outcomes in complex domains like healthcare, where thoughtful data use can make a real difference.
• Bonus: experience with software engineering, but not a hard requirement.
