We are seeking a Data Migration Lead that is responsible for the successful migration of clients from Legacy systems to new target platforms within wealth management, ensuring a smooth transition while managing risks and liaising with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage client migrations from Legacy to target states.

  • Own the physical migration of clients, coordinating with systems owners for readiness.

  • Lead a migration team in creating tools and runbooks for the transition.

  • Conduct business readiness checks to confirm successful migration and closure of Legacy platforms.

  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the delivery process.

  • Escalate issues to the programme team to mitigate delivery risks.

Must Haves:

  • Experience in wealth management (banking, investment, custody).

  • Proven record of managing client migrations.

  • Strong leadership skills in managing a migration team.

  • Ability to address complex migration challenges.

Nice to Haves:

  • Familiarity with migration tools and runbooks.

  • Previous experience in risk management and issue escalation.

  • Knowledge of client business readiness processes
