We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Data Manager to join our team at Manchester Enterprise Academy (MEA).

This is a Grade 6 permanent post working 35 hours per week, all year round. The role starts on 1st September, with a salary range of £32,115 to £35,235 per year.

We're looking for:

  • A Data Manager with excellent analytical skills to analyze information, maintain records, and produce reports.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact face-to-face or by phone with students, parents, colleagues, external agencies, and the public.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, along with strong numeracy and literacy skills. Experience working with children and families in education or voluntary sectors is desirable.

Main purpose of the job:

You will maintain the school's Management Information System (MIS) and other software (e.g., SiSRA), ensuring data accuracy, security, and robust processing procedures to support school operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Organizing school data management and assessment processes.
  • Managing internal and external examinations in line with JCQ requirements.
  • Collaborating with staff and parents to support student progress and wellbeing.
  • Developing expertise in school information management and assessment software.
  • Creating and maintaining data collection structures and processing procedures.
  • Ensuring data confidentiality, accuracy, and security.
