Job Description

Position: Data Integration Engineer

Location: London

Contract: 6 Months Initially

Pay: £609 - £960 UMB/day

You need to be eligible to work in the UK as this role does not sponsor work visa

Leading provider of IT services to one of the major Japanese banking group in the EMEA region, supporting one of Japan's largest banks and a global financial powerhouse.

Essential Qualifications
  • In depth understanding of data architecture and integration patterns.
  • Data modelling & transformation (conceptual/logical/physical).
  • Building data marts and downstream data products.
  • Proficiency with SQL and ETL/data integration tools (e.g. SSIS, IBM DataStage, Alteryx).
  • Solid hands on experience with SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Strong PL/SQL (Oracle) and T SQL (SQL Server).
  • Good understanding of data quality, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience with regulatory reporting in the banking sector.
  • Tool & platform management for data/ETL environments.
  • Experience with cloud storage solutions (e.g. object storage/file storage).
Desirable Qualifications
  • Exposure to Azure, Databricks
  • Exposure to AQR Reporting for ECB
  • Exposure to Middleware technologies (IIB, Kafka, Message Queue)
