This role is ideal for a technically skilled leader who is passionate about building scalable, high-performance data platforms. You will lead a small team of engineers and analysts to design and maintain pipelines that process millions of events daily, ensuring data reliability, accuracy, and accessibility. You will own the architecture and optimization of a modern cloud-based data warehouse, collaborating closely with analytics, marketing, and compliance teams to align technical solutions with strategic business goals. This position offers the opportunity to influence the development of a Customer Data Platform from the ground up, working in a dynamic, innovative environment that values performance, automation, and data-driven decision-making. Success in this role directly impacts the company's ability to deliver actionable insights and drive operational efficiency across multiple brands.

Accountabilities
  • Design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines handling millions of events daily.
  • Own the data warehouse architecture (Snowflake), ensuring performance, cost efficiency, and maintainability.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of data engineers and analysts to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy above 95% and pipeline uptime exceeding 99.9%.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, analytics, and compliance teams to ensure data supports business goals.
  • Continuously monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Implement and enforce data governance standards, security, and compliance practices.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, including at least 2 years in leadership roles.
  • Expert in Snowflake, SQL, and Python programming.
  • Proficient with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and IAM.
  • Experience with orchestration and transformation tools like Airflow and dbt.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
  • Experience with event streaming platforms (Kafka/Kinesis) or ML/MLflow is a plus.
  • Experience in iGaming, digital entertainment, or marketing data is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills to align technical delivery with business priorities.
