Job Description - Data Engineer/Data software Engineer (Azure Databricks)

Location: London, UK (3 days onsite a week
Experience Required: 6+ Years

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Data Engineering to join our team.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Data Engineering or related software engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
  • Hands-on development experience with Scala.
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing complex data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Proven experience working with large-scale datasets involving millions of records.
  • Strong expertise in data pipeline performance tuning and optimisation.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based data engineering solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
