One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a Data Engineer (Databricks, Azure).

This role will define and enforce development standards based on the structure set forth by the Architect.

Strong people skills and experience in rigid software development environments is critical.

Proactively drive the development: Drive for new features in collaboration with product owners and design team, from research and design to software programming
Agile developer: Excel in test-driven agile development, contributing to the agile practices in my stable team and beyond.
Make innovative products: Innovate and develop technologies to enhance quality and performance, ensuring security, scalability, and maintainability of software solutions.
Continuous Learning and Development: Emphasize the expectation for ongoing professional growth to stay abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies.
Team development and culture development: Assure know-how and capabilities build-up for software engineer cohort. Foster knowledge sharing and skill development within the software engineering team, elevating the collective expertise. Contribute to a positive, innovative, and collaborative company culture.
Design and Architecture: Develop detailed designs of applications and for senior levels the architecture of applications.
Oversee and maintain all software engineering activities across products/teams, the more senior the more cross teams and products.
Responsible for the development of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable systems using service-oriented architecture.
Test: Write and test code and system functions. Refine and rewrite code as necessary and communicate with any team member involved in the stable team. Design and execute test automation, performance, and smoke tests as part of the definition of done. Perform end-to-end integration testing.
Support, Operation and maintenance: Support end-users (eg third-line support) and ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our software solutions including technical debt. Ensure reliability and incident resolution within SLA timelines.
Mentorship and Leadership: For senior levels mentoring junior engineers and leading by example in technical excellence and agile practices.

1. Databricks DE certified and Azure DE certified
2. hands on 10-11 experience on creating pipelines, performance tuning, Delta tables
3. worked in an Agile team
