Data Engineer & Analyst

Our goal is to strengthen the brand in Spain. We are looking for an expert to work as Data Engineer & Analyst!
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with data scientists to deploy machine learning models reliably and efficiently into production environments.
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for retail-focused use cases such as:
- Customer segmentation
- Next Best Product recommendations
- Warehouse picking time and route optimization
- High-granularity forecasting
- AI agent enablement
- Retail-specific computer vision applications
- Ensure CI/CD workflows and ML Ops practices are followed for model training and deployment pipelines.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production environments on Azure and GCP.
- Review and refactor existing data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Implement best practices around data governance, security, and infrastructure automation (IaC).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data science, DevOps, and product teams to align infrastructure improvements with business needs.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4-7 years of hands-on experience in data engineering roles with proven work in retail or e-commerce environments.
- Proficient in data pipeline development using Python, SQL, and orchestration tools like Airflow, DBT, or Azure Data Factory.
- Strong experience with Azure (e.g., Synapse, Data Lake, Functions) and Google Cloud Platform (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Composer).
- Familiarity with ML Ops workflows, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
- Ability to diagnose performance bottlenecks and improve infrastructure for speed, cost, and reliability.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills in distributed systems and data flow architectures.
