Data Engineer (Ab Initio) - HR Analytics Automation

Our leading client is undertaking a major HR analytics automation programme to transform how they manage and use employee data. The goal is to build a secure, scalable, and compliant data foundation that connects key HR systems to the Enterprise Analytics Platform (EAP). This will enable faster, more reliable insights and support smarter decision-making across the organisation.

They are looking for multiple Data Engineers with strong experience in Ab Initio to help deliver robust, automated data pipelines at the heart of this transformation. In this role, you'll design, develop, and maintain workflows that move and transform sensitive HR data with a focus on security, performance, and compliance. Your work will be critical to enabling consistent, high-quality analytics across the business.

To succeed, you'll need hands-on experience with Ab Initio, a solid understanding of ETL and data integration, and ideally familiarity with HR systems like HCM, POL, and SABA (not essential). You should be comfortable working in regulated environments and be confident navigating data protection and compliance requirements.

This is a full-time, freelance role operating out of the Baltics. You must reside in either Lithuania, Latvia or Estonia for this role and be willing to work on a hybrid basis.
