Data Engineer

A Data Engineer is required by an international technology innovation organisation to join their data science team and support and manage a cloud-based data platform used by data scientists.

Responsibilities:

• Administering and maintaining cloud data platform and building data pipelines.
• Integrating software components into fully functional, production-ready data products.
• Troubleshooting workflow and pipeline issues, creating solutions and patches to help improve stability of data platform.
• Maintaining and administering databases; create new databases using APIs and ETL protocols for new projects.
• Support data scientists by ensuring scalable, reliable, and efficient data infrastructure.

Required experience and skills:

• Data engineering experience.
• Exposure to Agentic AI systems and AI-driven workflows.
• Strong understanding of data models, data mining, data wrangling, and segmentation techniques.
• Experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with SQL.
• MLOps environments experience.
