We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Capacity Management Data Engineer to join our client's team. You will play a crucial role in developing and delivering a production forecast, providing valuable insights for their DFC Execution department.

Outcomes of the project:

The end product will be PowerBI dashboards depicting capacity management. You will also be responsible for developing and elaborating a strong framework (back-end) where the inflow forecast, current occupancy, and all production variables converge. This will result in a robust data model built on the back-end with SQL and Python, leading to satisfied stakeholders and customers.

About the role

As a Capacity Management Data Engineer, you are responsible for developing and delivering a production forecast for the client's DFC department. You will be part of an Agile team, working in 2-week sprints and reporting to a product owner. The development team consists of approximately 16 people, divided into 3 teams of 4-5 developers.

You will:

• Develop a framework for linking key input sources (Python).
• Retrieve data from various data sources (Excel, Synapse, CAAP data platform, Mendix, etc.) using SQL.
• Visualize insights in PowerBI.
• Work in 2-week sprints in an agile team.
• Pick up tickets and discuss the content with your product owner.
• Think about possible improvements in the technical solution.

These activities are data and insights-driven, meaning a significant portion of the work involves data and tooling.

Who are you?

Experience

• Knowledge and experience with Python (Pandas) is a must.
• Knowledge and experience with SQL is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with Agile working is an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience with PowerBI is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with CDD/KYC processes is an advantage.
• Dutch in speech and writing is a must.
