As a Data Engineer at Schiphol, you'll be the technical backbone of our Data Analytics Capability. You'll support our analysts with the right tools and efficient workflows, contributing to our mission of creating the world's most sustainable and high-quality airports.
Your role in our teamYou'll be responsible for:
- Building scalable data architectures that support Schiphol's 2050 vision
- Managing Azure Databricks administration, including controls, accounts, and access policies
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and peer reviews
- Enforcing security-first practices and compliance frameworks
- Driving innovation through advanced tools like Databricks
- Mentoring analysts on scalable solution design
- A salary between €4,981 and €6,911 gross per month (Scale 12)
- 13th month (year-end bonus)
- Option to work 4 x 9 hours in a 36-hour work week
- NS Business Card for full reimbursement of public transport to work
The ideal candidate has:
- At least 3 years of experience as an analytics engineer, data engineer, or platform engineer
- Proven experience administering Azure Databricks environments
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering tasks
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, or GitHub
- Comfort working in an Agile environment
- Ability to translate analytics needs to tech teams
