What You'll Do

• Design and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes for environmental monitoring projects
• Work with geospatial, sensor, and satellite data to support ecological analysis
• Collaborate with scientists, policy experts, and software developers to deliver reliable, real-time environmental data solutions
• Ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance in our cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Translate raw environmental data into structured formats for dashboards, APIs, and analytics tools

What We're Looking For

• Fluency in Dutch and English (both written and spoken)
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role
• Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka, or Airflow)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing solutions
• Familiarity with geospatial data or environmental datasets is a big plus
• A passion for climate action, sustainability, and working on projects that make a difference
