Data & Systems Coordinator

Overview

We are on the hunt for a talented and driven Data & Systems Coordinator to join one of our key clients in London, a world-leading provider of International Trade data for Steel, Metals, Ores, Fuels, and Chemicals. You'll join a growing team driving forward accessibility to market data for private and public entities across the globe. This hybrid role requires on-site presence twice per week and remote work three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Improve the accessibility and usability of data within the Trade Enquiry System (TES).
• Regularly update and manage the content stored within the TES to improve data quality and accuracy.
• Oversee the active development of the customer-facing TES interface and monitor user experience.
• Assess and interpret market trends and competitor offerings to drive continuous improvement of products and services.
• Produce high-quality reports and analyses for internal and external stakeholders across various businesses.
• Support the development of Market Research presentations, providing clear, data-driven insights for lead generation by the Sales Team.
• Undertake in-depth analysis of large datasets to support strategic decision making and identify opportunities for growth.
• Maintain the confidentiality of company data.

Requirements

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including extensive use of formulas, pivot tables, data analysis tools, and data visualisation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with the ability to create clear and engaging presentations.
• A talent for interpreting large data sets and communicating insights clearly and concisely.
• Ability to present findings defining problems, results, and actionable insights.
• Experience using Power BI or similar data-visualisation tools such as Tableau or Looker; ability to produce interactive dashboards is desirable but not essential.
