Data Collection & Quality

  • Enhance and develop data analysis tools and methods, ensuring consistency and best practice across the team.

  • Translate complex datasets into clear insights that inform action and support continuous improvement.

  • Lead migration of existing reports to preferred platforms (e.g., Power BI, Excel), ensuring robust governance, version control, and ease of use.

Safer Every Day

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of H&S processes through audit feedback and collaborative initiatives.

Proven experience in data collection, quality review, and analysis. Demonstrable experience building reports and dashboards. A qualification in data analytics (Level 4 or equivalent) is advantageous but not mandatory if you can show relevant experience. Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in Power BI or similar dashboard tools. Strong analytical mindset: able to interpret data, spot trends, and draw clear conclusions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management: you can explain insights to technical and non-technical audiences. Self-motivated and accountable: you take ownership of your tasks and pursue continuous learning. Familiarity with SQL or Databricks is desirable but not essential; willingness to develop these skills is key. Keen to learn the business, understand its drivers, and align data work to strategic objectives.
