Data Analyst - Rotterdam - ALTEN Netherlands

The Position

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Diagnostics Data Analytics team and contribute to ongoing client projects in Rotterdam.

As a Data Analyst, your main tasks will include:

• Analyzing complex diagnostic datasets to extract actionable insights supporting decision-making in healthcare environments
• Developing and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring robust and automated workflows using software development best practices
• Working with time-series and sensor data using InfluxDB, including crafting queries with Flux and SQL
• Designing and implementing data models and applying advanced analytics techniques using Python (Pandas, NumPy, and Object-Oriented Programming)
• Collaborating on dashboard creation and visualization, preferably with Grafana or similar tools, to effectively communicate findings
• Engaging with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to translate diagnostic challenges into data-driven solutions
• Supporting ongoing innovation and digital transformation initiatives within the diagnostics domain

Your Profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in data analytics or data science, ideally with exposure to software development practices
• Proficient in Python programming, including Pandas, NumPy, and Object-Oriented Programming
• Experience with InfluxDB and Flux query language; working knowledge of SQL is required
• Familiarity with Grafana or other dashboarding/visualization tools is a plus
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are also preferred
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving real-world diagnostic data challenges
• Willingness to work hybrid with 2 days per week in the Rotterdam office
