Damp, Mould & Disrepair Surveyor needed in Barnsley Paying £22.20 per hr ref 000A BC05 / 1

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out damp and mould inspections and surveys across residential properties
• Diagnose causes of damp, mould, and condensation, including structural and environmental issues
• Prepare clear, detailed survey reports with photographs and recommendations for remedial works
• Specify repairs and treatments in line with good practice and relevant standards
• Liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to explain findings and proposed actions
• Monitor works on site to ensure quality, compliance, and timely completion
• Identify and escalation serious hazards or safeguarding concerns where required
• Maintain accurate records and update property management systems
• Support compliance with housing health and safety and property condition standards
