Job Title: D365FO Finance Systems Administrator

About the Role
I am looking for a D365FO Finance Systems Administrator to join an end user in London to support the upcoming implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. You'll play a key role in managing core finance modules including payments & invoicing, general ledger, and accounts payable.
This is a unique opportunity for someone with a finance background-ideally an accountant who has stepped away from traditional finance to focus on IT and finance systems. If you've made the transition from accounting into systems-focused roles, this could be a perfect next step.
You'll be the go-to person internally for finance systems support, working alongside a managed service provider and bridging the gap between finance and IT.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and manage D365FO finance modules (payments & invoicing, general ledger, accounts payable) during and after implementation
- Act as the primary finance systems administrator, working closely with a managed service provider
- Maintain and support other SaaS financial/reporting products, including OneStream
- Collaborate with the Finance Director and wider finance team to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of finance systems
- Manage and optimise reporting requirements across D365 and other platforms
- Assist with quality assurance and user support through the final rollout phase and transition into BAU
- Act as a bridge between finance and IT, translating needs and challenges across teams
About You
- Experience working with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO)
- Background in finance or accounting - ideally a qualified or part-qualified accountant who has moved into systems or IT
- Comfortable bridging the gap between finance and IT, with strong communication skills
- Able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
