D365FO Finance Consultant//Remote (within Europe)

Role: Senior Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant (D365 F&O/AX)

Location: Europe-based (remote/hybrid with international travel as needed)

Role Overview:

An exciting opportunity for a seasoned Finance Consultant with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (formerly AX) to join a global consultancy working on cross-border, enterprise-scale ERP projects. This senior role involves leading finance workstreams, advising clients on best practices, and delivering high-quality solutions that drive business transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of D365 Finance modules across international implementation projects
• Translate complex finance requirements into scalable, sustainable solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
• Ensure all implementations follow structured project methodology and best practices
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, proactively identifying improvements and risks
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution design and client presentations
• Provide mentorship to junior consultants and support knowledge-sharing across teams
• Represent the consulting team professionally in both client-facing and internal engagements

Key Requirements:

• 5 years + of ERP consulting experience, with strong expertise in D365 F&O or AX finance modules
• End-to-end international ERP implementations
• Previous hands-on experience in a finance role (eg, accounting, FP&A, controlling)
• Solid understanding of global financial processes, compliance, and localisation requirements
• Proven track record in pre-sales, solution design, and client engagement
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and client-oriented approach
• Able to work independently and thrive in a multicultural, distributed team environment
