D365 F&O Technical Lead

Initial 6-month

Rate - Negotiable

Hybrid role - Stockholm (3 days onsite/2 days remote

D365 F&O Technical Lead required for an exciting project for the appointed D365 professional to lead and own the technical vision and health of our ERP ecosystem. You'll translate business needs into scalable, update-safe solutions, lead a global dev team, and define the roadmap for a mission-critical D365 F&O platform.

What You'll Do

  • Architect the Platform: Design end-to-end, scalable D365 F&O solutions aligned to best practices and One Version standards.

  • Lead the Team: Guide onshore/offshore developers, drive sprint planning, and unblock technical challenges.

  • Govern Quality: Enforce coding standards, run reviews, and minimize technical debt.

  • Drive Integrations: Deliver robust integrations (PLM, CRM, banking, etc.) using Azure Integration Services, OData, and custom APIs.

  • Own ALM & DevOps: Manage CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and environment strategy in Azure DevOps.

  • Advise Strategically: Act as the go-to expert for architecture, performance tuning, and upgrade impact.

What You Bring

  • Expert X , C#, and deep D365 F&O architecture knowledge (AOS, metadata, extensions).

  • Strong Azure integration experience (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Dataverse/Dual-write).

  • Data & reporting expertise (ER, BYOD, Data Lake, Power BI).

  • Azure DevOps mastery (version control, builds, automated deployments).

  • Confident communicator who can turn technical detail into business value.

Nice to Have

  • 5+ years in Dynamics AX/D365 F&O, 2+ years leading teams.

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Microsoft certifications (MB-700, MB-300/500).
