Junior Customer Success Manager (Dutch speaking, Amsterdam)

We're looking for a driven and personable Junior Customer Success Manager to join our Customer Success team focused on SMB and small enterprise clients.


You will join a fast-growing SaaS company offering a comprehensive Learning Management System (LMS). Far more than just an e-learning tool, the solution enables companies to foster employee development across various departments and industries. The platform supports internal training creation, external course purchasing via a learning marketplace, onboarding programs, certification, and more.


About the Role


As a Junior Customer Success Manager, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 50 SMB/small enterprise clients. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring clients are successful, satisfied, and continuously gaining value from our solutions. You'll work in a hybrid team environment where scalable support, commercial insight, and a deep understanding of client needs go hand-in-hand.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Acting as the first point of contact for most client inquiries (40-50% inbox management)
  • Driving commercial opportunities through upselling and cross-selling (30% of the role)
  • Hosting monthly client sessions and plenary meetings (4 per month)
  • Creating content and toolkits to support scalable customer success
  • Conducting annual business reviews and managing client health dashboards
  • Collaborating with other departments including Implementation and Product


Ideal Candidate Profile


We're looking for someone who brings both energy and structure to the table. You're someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and identifying new opportunities for your clients.


You'll likely thrive in this role if you have:


  • 1+ year experience in Customer Success, B2B Sales, SDR, Consultancy, Recruitment, or Account Management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy and curiosity to deeply understand client needs
  • A commercial mindset and the ability to spot growth opportunities
  • Organizational skills and a structured approach to managing a portfolio
  • Affinity with SaaS or B2B tech (preferred but not required)
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, startup-style environment

Junior CSM Medior CSM Senior CSM, with progression based on performance and client complexity. Medior / Senior roles involve managing larger, more strategic enterprise accounts.

Interview Process


  1. Introductory Interview - 1-hour session with the CS Lead
  2. Case Interview - With the CS Lead and Head of Customer Success
  3. Final Interview - Conversation with a member of the management team
  4. (The first interview can be online; subsequent rounds are preferred on-site)
