Overview

Customer Services Coordinator - French Speaking. Colorcon is a world leader in formulated film coating systems, modified release technologies, specialty excipients and functional packaging for the pharmaceutical, nutritional, and animal health industries. The role serves as a liaison between customers and internal Colorcon departments, aiming to meet and exceed customer expectations and enhance customer relations and loyalty.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Communication: Support customers' inquiries through multiple channels (phone, email, chat); follow up on general questions with internal departments (Quality, Regulatory, Technical, Supply Chain, Commercial, Shipping, Finance, Production, Planning); facilitate issue resolution and coordinate returns and credit notes as needed.
  • Order Management: Enter and process orders, calculate transit time and freight; proactively inform customers of at-risk orders; maintain accurate customer data and profiles.
  • Pricing: Handle customer quotations for new business; follow up on open quotes; maintain price lists and send to customers on request.
  • Product & Service Knowledge: Understand Colorcon's product portfolio and service offerings.
  • Technology: Use My Colorcon Portal for registrations, pricing requests, and order changes or cancellations; assist customers with platform questions; navigate multiple platforms efficiently.
  • Teamwork: Work independently and as part of a team; provide back-up coverage; collaborate across the organization to drive process improvement; share resources to strengthen team cohesion.
  • Problem Solving: Handle nonstandard and complex inquiries; identify root issues and anticipate related concerns.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years of customer service experience.
  • Customer-oriented with the ability to adapt to changing customer needs; proactive and thorough in assessing if needs are met.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and active listening skills; proficiency in English and French required.
  • Ability to understand and input data accurately and use data to troubleshoot and recommend solutions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook); able to navigate internal systems such as Oracle, Zendesk, My Colorcon, Customer Central, and Work Management.
  • Ability to identify broader customer goals and help construct a path to customer success.
