On behalf of our client, an American company which provides information services all over the globe, with modern offices in Zurich City, we are recruiting a Customer Service Coordinator - IT Services (m/f/d), in charge of customer support, technical assistance, order and inventory management, issue resolution, and cross-departmental coordination to ensure efficient operations-
The assignment will be a temporary one to start as soon as possible for the next six months.
Depending on the selected candidate's performance and motivation, the possibility of being taken over permanently is given.
Description
The Customer Service Coordinator - IT Services (m/f/d) will oversee customer support, technical assistance, order and inventory management, issue resolution, and cross-departmental coordination to ensure efficient operations, by carrying out the following task area:
- Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, managing all IT-related issues across client offices and data centers to ensure timely resolution and uninterrupted operations
- Provides hands-on technical support for the deployment, installation, and maintenance of networking hardware and computer systems
- Delivers exceptional customer service by ensuring timely and accurate order processing
- Manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Handles claims efficiently, escalating issues as necessary to achieve effective resolution
- Utilizes proprietary IT systems and SAP for inventory management, order entry, and data maintenance
- Collaborates closely with internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth communication and coordination across all stakeholders
- Ensures full compliance with applicable regulations, guidelines, and internal procedures
Profile
In order to be considered for the role, the ideal candidate should have:
- Solid academic or commercial background
- At least 1-2 years of professional experience in customer support, ideally in technical assistance or on-site service roles
- Hands-on expertise with PCs, including both hardware and software troubleshooting, and/or resolving networking issues
- Proficiency in English and German (both written and spoken)
- Additional language skills (e.g., French, Italian) considered a significant advantage
- Confident user of MS Office applications, and familiarity with SAP is a plus
- General IT affinity, PC knowledge and technical flair
- Flexibility for occasional evening or weekend on-call duties (with compensatory weekday time off)
- Strong communication skills and customer orientated personality
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Reliable and strong sense of responsibility
- Valid driver's license
