Job Description
Make a meaningful difference at our brand-new Crematorium and Bereavement Centre, where your empathy will help guide families through their time of loss.

£27,694 to £30,024 per annum plus benefits.

Lake View Bereavement Centre, near the beautiful cathedral city of Ely, opens in the early autumn and we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Customer Service Advisor.

We understand that saying goodbye is a natural part of life's journey. A meaningful farewell is not only about honouring the person who has died; it is also about surrounding those left behind with the care, compassion and support they need as they say goodbye.

As Customer Service Advisor you will play a pivotal role in the service offered at the Lake View Bereavement Centre, providing professional, compassionate, and efficient front-line support to bereaved families, funeral directors, celebrants, and visitors.

In this role, you will balance empathy with efficiency, managing the administration and coordination of cremation, burial, and memorial services. You will ensure every farewell is handled with dignity, meeting both statutory requirements and our high standards of care.

We are looking for candidates with experience delivering high-level customer service in a professional environment. The ability to remain calm, positive, and approachable while working in a sensitive, emotionally charged environment is essential.

Life at Lake View will be varied and rewarding. You will be someone who thrives on variety and enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive and dedicated team.

If you are ready to build a meaningful career in a beautiful lakeside setting, surrounded by nature, we would love to hear from you!
