Salary: £25,000 plus annual bonus and incentives

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Work Location: Office based

Looking for a customer service role with no evenings or weekend shifts?

At Crown Gas & Power, we are looking for a confident and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join our growing Customer Experience team in Bury.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with customer service experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking to move into a professional office-based role with structured Monday to Friday hours.

Whether your background is in retail, hospitality, contact centres, administration, or customer support, we are looking for strong communicators who enjoy helping customers and can manage multiple tasks throughout the day.

The Role

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, supporting customers across telephone, email, and live chat.

This is a busy and varied role where no two days are the same. You will be handling customer queries, setting up customer accounts, processing administration tasks, and supporting customers professionally throughout their journey with us.

You will typically manage a mix of calls, emails, live chat enquiries, and data entry tasks throughout the day, so we are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable working at pace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle customer enquiries via telephone, email, and live chat
  • Support customers with account and service related queries
  • Process customer account setups and administrative tasks accurately
  • Process Change of Tenancy requests within agreed timescales
  • Maintain accurate customer records and account notes
  • Support the shared customer enquiry inbox
  • Resolve customer queries efficiently and effectively
  • Produce customer correspondence and documentation accurately
What We're Looking For
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities at once
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, call centre, office administration, or customer support environments would be advantageous
