Customer Service Advisor - Billericay

As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll play a vital role in managing high volumes of incoming calls and coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and supervisors. Your main responsibility will be to schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring we meet our contractual Service Level Agreements without overpromising.You'll be part of our back-office team, communicating with residents via phone and email. Using our MSi system, you'll assign operatives and subcontractors to jobs, handle complex repair cases, and support customers who may have experienced service issues-restoring their confidence through excellent service.
Job Salary : £27,000 - £27,500
Job Location : Billericay, Essex
Full-time in the office.
We're seeking candidates who bring:
- A background in Social Housing or Repairs & Maintenance, or at least 2 years' experience in a contact centre.
- Proven experience in scheduling or planning Disrepairs, Voids, or Complex Works.
- Strong communication skills with operatives, subcontractors, and residents.
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance and task durations.
- Understanding of how to sequence or coordinate concurrent works.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage jobs-in-progress to meet targets.
- Good written English and computer literacy.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- A passion for delivering excellent service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
