Job Description

This permanent Customer Service Adviser role in York (YO41) involves being the primary contact for clients throughout their vehicle repair journey. Based fully in the office, you will deliver a professional and positive experience, working Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

The position offers a salary of £26,836.80 per annum plus bonus opportunities, 25 days holiday, and an excellent benefits package. Strong communication and organisational abilities are essential, alongside a clear customer focus.

Manpower UK is recruiting this role for a respected accident repair group, with ongoing training and career development provided. The client is one of the UK's largest and most respected independent accident repair groups in the region.

The package: Full time Perm position-Monday to Friday (this is a fully office based role). Location: York YO41. Hours: 8:00am 5:00pm (40 hours a week). Salary on offer: £26,836.80 per annum. About the Role

This is a customer focused position where you will play a key role in delivering a smooth, professional and positive repair experience for customers.

Responsibilities
  • Being the main point of contact for customers throughout their repair journey
  • Providing regular updates on repair progress
  • Booking vehicles in for repair
  • Arranging vehicle collections and deliveries
  • Working closely with site colleagues to ensure high standards of service are maintained
  • Take any excess payments
  • Meeting and greeting customers with a friendly approach
  • Update customers on the progress of their vehicles

  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Are organised, adaptable and proactive
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Have a positive, can do attitude
  • Are flexible, reliable and happy to get stuck in
  • Enjoy building rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Experience in customer service, call centre, or automotive environments would be beneficial but is not essential
