Job Description
Job Title: Customer Care Advisor
Reporting to: Customer Care Team Manager
Location: Kingsway
Role Description- Positively represent the JD plc brand to customers through multiple channels, providing effective and efficient resolution's to customer queries.
- Deal with inbound contact via phone, email, social media and live chat to resolve product related questions, issues or complaints both pre and post order.
- Take orders by phone and set clear expectations on delivery timescales when processing telesales orders.
- Provide technical assistance to customers placing orders on the website.
- Assist customers with product related questions and help them reach an informed decision on their purchases.
- Communicate information about the company's products and services.
- Handle written communication through email and post, and perform general administrative duties.
- Accurately record reasons for customer contacts.
- Actively encourage feedback from customers and provide recommendations for improvement to the line manager.
- Constructively explain processes and procedures when things occasionally deviate from the plan.
- Previous experience in a customer service role is desirable.
- Remain calm and focused when dealing with challenging situations.
- Work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Be creative and forward thinking in suggesting alternative solutions to resolve customer issues.
- Understand the need for confidentiality and compliance with legislation.
- Open and adaptable to change; able to quickly adapt to constantly evolving systems.
- Flexible approach to working; cover a 24/7 operation.
- Can do attitude; accountable even when an issue is outside the area of responsibility.
- Provide good judgment, even in pressured situations.
- Be a self starter and self sufficient.
- Maintain a positive manner.
