Retail Assistant - Part-time, Fixed-Term Assignment

Location: Newton Abbot Store, Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd Penn Inn, Newton Abbot Devon, TQ12 1BN
Rate: £12.60 per hour
Hours: 8 per week (part time)

What you'll be doing

• Ensure customers have a great shopping experience by delivering excellent customer service at the tills, on website screens on the shop floor, and at the collection counter.
• Collect products from the stock area for customers, take payments, provide details on financial service offerings for certain products, and process refunds.
• Keep the stock room neat and tidy and restock products from deliveries.
• Be present on the shop floor helping customers with questions and provide product recommendations.
• Build knowledge about products, services, and promotions to assist with recommendations.

Eligibility and requirements

• You must be above the school-leaver age in your country.
• You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
• Most roles are part-time across a variety of shifts, including weekdays and weekends. Hours are scheduled to fit around availability and may vary week to week.
