Your new role
As a Customer Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service across a range of operational and administrative tasks. You'll be responsible for managing customer enquiries, planning asset maintenance jobs and new connections, and ensuring accurate data input across internal systems. You'll also handle inbound and outbound calls, including gas emergencies, and liaise with construction partners and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Planning and scheduling new and maintenance jobs
- Handling customer enquiries and complaints via phone and email
- Responding to customer emergencies and recording incident details accurately
- Updating internal systems with connection, metering, and service data
- Performing general administrative duties and supporting service delivery
- Promoting health & safety, customer care, and company values
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths (Grade C or above)
- At least 1 year's experience in a customer service role with high-volume calls
- Minimum 2 years' administrative experience
- Strong IT skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience in planning/scheduling departments
- Diary management and complaint handling experience
- High-volume data entry experience
