Credit Operating Officer

Your Role As Credit Operating Officer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are a flexible and well structured person, interested in credit operations and lombard credit. You are able to interact with various internal stakeholders, further develop internal processes and provide important support in relation to lombard credit by handling guarantees, credit checks and providing on-going support to other Credit units and Front Office units. Your Responsibilities

• Handle the credit check to support the lombard business of the Bank
• Manage guarantees from A to Z (issuance to call for payments)
• Perform second level controls on the lending book
• Be involved in and contribute to internal reporting to the Group Credit and Risk Committees
• Maintain an on-going working relationship with other units of the Bank such as Trading, Products, Relationship Managers, Legal & Compliance Department

Your Profile

• Completed apprenticeship in Banking or higher education (FH) in Banking or Finance
• Additional training in Lombard Business or at least 2-3 years of professional experience in Credit Business of a Financial Institution
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills and experience with Swift messaging
• Ability to weigh problems and set priorities
• Hands-on mentality and organizational skills
• Capability to work independently and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work with various stakeholder
• Fluency in English, fluency in German and French is a plus
