Creche Manager - New Service Opening in Chapelizod, Dublin 20

Phoenix Childcare is expanding, and we are delighted to announce the opening of our brand new, purpose-built childcare service in Chapelizod. We are now seeking an experienced, passionate, and motivated Creche Manager to lead the service from its opening phase and drive high-quality early years care and education.

About the Role

As Creche Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the service, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. You will lead and support your team, maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, and build strong relationships with parents and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the childcare service
  • Ensure full compliance with Tusla regulations and all relevant legislation
  • Support, mentor, and supervise staff to deliver high-quality care and education
  • Oversee planning and implementation of Aistear and Síolta frameworks
  • Manage staffing, rosters, and recruitment
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and safeguarding
  • Build positive relationships with parents and act as the main point of contact
  • Contribute to occupancy growth and overall service development
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Care & Education (Level 7/8 desirable)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a management or senior role within a childcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of Tusla regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for early years education and providing high-quality care
