Job Description

Our client, a well-established care provider in the Reading area, is looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead one of their CQC-registered services. Missions & Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and quality of the service, with responsibilities including:

  • Leading, motivating and developing a team to deliver consistently high standards of person-centred care.
  • Ensuring the service meets and maintains CQC compliance, driving continuous improvement across all areas.
  • Overseeing care and support planning, ensuring individual needs and goals are met.
  • Managing staff recruitment, training, supervision and performance development.
  • Carrying out regular audits, quality checks and reporting to senior management.
  • Building strong working relationships with families, healthcare professionals and external agencies.
  • Overseeing safeguarding procedures and promoting a culture of safety and respect.
  • Participating in on-call arrangements as part of a supportive management structure.
Profil
  • Proven experience as a CQC Registered Manager, or strong deputy-level experience ready to step up.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
  • Solid working knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred).
  • Experience within learning disability, autism, mental health or supported living services.
  • A track record of achieving or improving CQC ratings.
