Job Description
Our client, a well-established care provider in the Reading area, is looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead one of their CQC-registered services. In this role, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and quality of the service, with responsibilities including:
- Leading, motivating and developing a team to deliver consistently high standards of person-centred care.
- Ensuring the service meets and maintains CQC compliance, driving continuous improvement across all areas.
- Overseeing care and support planning, ensuring individual needs and goals are met.
- Managing staff recruitment, training, supervision and performance development.
- Carrying out regular audits, quality checks and reporting to senior management.
- Building strong working relationships with families, healthcare professionals and external agencies.
- Overseeing safeguarding procedures and promoting a culture of safety and respect.
- Participating in on-call arrangements as part of a supportive management structure.
- Proven experience as a CQC Registered Manager, or strong deputy-level experience ready to step up.
- Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
- Solid working knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred).
- Experience within learning disability, autism, mental health or supported living services.
- A track record of achieving or improving CQC ratings.

- Salary range: £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
