C++/Python for AI & Grid Modelling - 12+ Months - remote

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer to support the client in the "AI-powered Grid Modelling" initiative. The role involves developing innovative software solutions for the accelerated analysis of power grids and building a comprehensive database for AI/ML models.

Responsibilities:
- Building and architecture a comprehensive database for relevant grid data
- Developing and maintaining applications for traditional and AI-powered grid analysis
- Working closely with data scientists and grid experts to implement AI solutions
- Mentoring and coaching junior developers
- Ensuring code quality and creating technical documentation
- Analyzing, testing, and validating before deployment
- Troubleshooting and continuously optimizing development processes
- Proactively identifying and implementing process improvements

Requirements:
- University degree in IT or a related technical field
- Several years of experience in full-stack software development
- Expert knowledge of C++ and Python (10+ years)
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in AI/ML integration, eg, neural networks (eg, CANOS)
- Knowledge of HPC environments, scientific computing, or secure environments (nice to have)
