Cover Supervisor

Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a positive difference in education? We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic, and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a dedicated team at a thriving boys' school in Plymouth.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of learning by supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will deliver pre-prepared lesson materials, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and ensure students remain engaged and focused throughout the lesson.

The successful candidate will:

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be confident managing groups of secondary-aged students.
• Demonstrate resilience, professionalism, and a calm approach.
• Have strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Be committed to supporting students to achieve their full potential.
• Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
