Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising classes during teacher absences
  • Ensuring students are completing the work set by SLT/class teachers
  • Managing behaviour within the classroom - creating a constructive learning environment
  • Supporting the school's strong pastoral ethos and high expectations for every student
  • Providing support to students where necessary, including those with SEND needs
Requirements
  • A degree or relevant experience
  • A passion for education and working with young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A respect for and sensitivity to the school's Catholic ethos and values
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through Cover People UK
