Cover Supervisor (Full Time / Part Time Available)

Location: Beverley, East Yorkshire

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: £95 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)

The Role

Vision for Education are working with secondary schools in Beverley to recruit reliable and confident Cover Supervisors. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates or career changers interested in progressing into teaching.

You will supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain engaged with pre-set work and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set classroom work in teacher absence
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies
• Support student engagement and focus
• Report back to teaching staff on progress and conduct
• Maintain a safe and productive classroom environment

Requirements

• Degree desirable but not essential
• Experience working with young people preferred
