Cover Supervisor

Job Description

Remedy Education is currently looking for reliable full time and part time cover supervisors to support a Secondary School in Lewisham.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise classes during the absence of teachers, ensuring students complete the work set.
• Manage student behaviour in accordance with school policies.
• Support students in understanding and completing the tasks set by their teachers.
• Report any issues or concerns regarding student behaviour or progress to the appropriate staff member.
• Support the wider school community by participating in events and activities.

Requirements

• A degree is highly preferable.
• Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom environments.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Uncapped refer a friend scheme - £100 for every referral.
