Are you confident leading a classroom and passionate about supporting young people? Whether you're a graduate exploring a career in teaching, or an experienced educator looking for a new opportunity, this Cover Supervisor role could be the perfect next step.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Supervise lessons across a range of subjects and year groups in a vibrant secondary school environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students remain engaged and focused.
  • Manage behaviour in line with school policies, promoting respect and a calm learning atmosphere.
  • Support students with their learning, encouraging participation and resilience.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and behaviour during cover lessons.
  • Step up when needed - from mentoring small groups to supporting with intervention and enrichment sessions.
Who We're Looking For:
  • Graduates in Education, Psychology, English, Maths, Science, Humanities or related fields.
  • Confident communicators with the presence to lead a classroom - teaching experience not required.
  • Flexible, reliable, and calm under pressure.
  • Passionate about working with young people and making a positive impact on their education.
  • Experience in a school, youth work, tutoring or coaching environment is a bonus (but not essential).
  • Willing to learn - full training and ongoing CPD provided.
