The County Lead - Northamptonshire

Lead the County St John Council to support volunteer community networks, creating a structured framework that empowers volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide volunteer Community Networks across Northamptonshire.
• Coordinate and provide strategic leadership to align volunteer efforts with community needs.
• Collaborate with Communities of Practice to share learning, advice and best practice.
• Drive technology led solutions, recognising the diverse needs of the volunteer community.
• Challenge existing ways of working constructively to enhance collaboration and minimise over complication.
• Shape delivery of outcomes across the county ensuring services remain relevant, inclusive and effective.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in local volunteering or community leadership.
• Proven strategic leadership and coordination skills.
• Innovative mindset with the ability to explore new ideas and adapt to change.
• Strong communication skills and ability to inspire volunteers.
