About The RoleThis role requires a builder and operator who can translate strategy into execution. You will lead setup, licensing, partnerships, product development, and compliance to successfully launch and scale the business into a high-growth, successful operation.
What You'll Do: Market Entry & Business Planning- Develop the market strategy plan and execute it. This includes developing a detailed business plan covering regulatory setup, partnerships, distribution, and growth strategy.
- Take a hands on role in leading the process of obtaining the necessary FCA licences and regulatory approvals required to operate in the UK insurance market.
- Work with internal and external legal and compliance teams to maintain full adherence to FCA requirements and industry standards.
- Build relationships with insurers, underwriting partners, and ecosystem players in the UK market. Negotiate commercial partnerships, product distribution agreements, and integration arrangements.
- Build the strongest product lineup from insurer partners, ensuring a consistently competitive offering in the market.
- Lead the launch of the platform, working closely with product and engineering teams to develop features, integrations, and customer journeys.
- Drive fast product iteration and execution to ensure strong product-market fit.
- Establish high-performance operating processes, cadence, and reporting structures to achieve strong growth metrics.
- Represent the group with insurers, regulators, partners, media, and key stakeholders.
- Build a high-performing team with a strong ownership culture and execution mindset.
- 7+ years of experience in insurance, fintech, digital platforms, or high-growth technology companies. Experience working in an FCA-approved entity is a plus.
- Highly analytical, execution-focused, and comfortable operating in very fast-paced, adaptive, and high-intensity environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing commercial performance, revenue growth, and partnerships.
- Strong leadership capability with experience building and managing cross functional teams.
- Understanding of the UK insurance market, regulatory environment, and distribution landscape is a plus.
We offer a highly competitive compensation package ranging from £80,000 to £200,000, reflecting the seniority and responsibility of the role, alongside performance-based incentives and long-term upside linked to business growth.
