Location:Tewkesbury
Hours:Minimum of 37.5 hours per week, five shifts (Monday - Saturday)
Salary:£13.17 -£13.53 per hour (Overtime paid at 1.25x after 40 hours)
About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy chilled warehouse team based in Tewkesbury. This hands-on role involves working across the factory floor, glass fridge, warehouse, and external loading bays, ensuring goods are moved safely and efficiently using modern electric forklift trucks.
Key Responsibilities of a Counterbalance Forklift Driver:
- Operate forklifts to check, transport, and unload goods
- Assist on lorries with pallet handling
- Maintain a clean and safe yard and warehouse environment
- Comply with food hygiene and health & safety regulations
Key Skills of a Counterbalance Forklift Driver:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (renewed within the last 3 years)
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Positive, team-focused attitude with the ability to work efficiently
- Ability to communicate clearly and follow safety standards
- Experience in dairy or food production is desirable, but not essential
