Counter Manager - Luxury Skincare & Beauty About the Opportunity

We are partnering with an iconic luxury beauty brand to recruit a Counter Manager for one of its prestigious department store locations. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a small, high-performing team within a fast-paced beauty hall, delivering exceptional skincare consultations and world-class customer experiences.

This role would suit an inspiring leader who is passionate about luxury skincare, enjoys coaching and developing others, and leads from the front through exceptional service and commercial excellence. You'll be just as comfortable performing consultations and driving sales as you are motivating your team to exceed targets and create loyal, long-term clients.

The Role
  • Lead and inspire a small counter team to consistently deliver an exceptional luxury customer experience.
  • Drive sales performance through outstanding consultations, personalised skincare prescriptions and premium service.
  • Act as the face of the brand within a busy department store environment, creating excitement and attracting new customers to the counter.
  • Coach and develop your team through regular feedback, demonstrations and product education to maximise performance and confidence.
  • Monitor daily, weekly and monthly KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve results and exceed commercial objectives.
  • Build a strong client base through effective CRM, follow-up appointments and long-term relationship building.
  • Host skincare consultations, product demonstrations and in-store events to drive customer engagement and brand awareness.
  • Ensure exceptional visual merchandising and merchandising standards are maintained at all times.
  • Manage stock levels, ordering, inventory control and operational compliance.
  • Build strong relationships with department store management and neighbouring brands to maximise commercial opportunities and footfall.
  • Lead by example on the shop floor, creating a positive, energetic and high-performing team culture.
About You
  • Previous management or supervisory experience within luxury beauty, premium skincare or prestige cosmetics.
  • Passionate about skincare with the ability to confidently deliver personalised consultations and recommendations.
  • A natural coach who enjoys developing individuals and creating high-performing teams.
  • Commercially driven with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Excellent clientelling skills with the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced department store environment while maintaining impeccable service standards.
  • Highly organised with strong operational, stock management and administrative skills.
  • Professional, engaging and confident, with a genuine passion for delivering memorable customer experiences.
