Job Description
The Corporate Paralegal's Role

The successful Corporate Paralegal will support the Corporate team across a broad range of transactional matters, including:

  • Assisting on private equity, M&A and general corporate transactions
  • Preparing board minutes, written resolutions and corporate documentation
  • Conducting legal and corporate due diligence
  • Managing virtual data rooms and reviewing transaction documents
  • Preparing due diligence reports, closing checklists and transaction bibles
  • Supporting transaction signings, completions and post-completion requirements
  • Coordinating Companies House filings and maintaining statutory registers
  • Drafting correspondence and legal research notes
  • Liaising with clients, counterparties and external advisers
  • Assisting with business development materials and client presentations
  • Monitoring transaction deadlines and ensuring matters progress efficiently
The Corporate Paralegal

The successful Corporate Paralegal will ideally have:

  • A Law degree or equivalent legal qualification
  • Previous experience as a Corporate Paralegal, Legal Assistant or within a transactional legal team
  • A genuine interest in corporate law, M&A or private equity
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines
  • A proactive and professional approach
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
  • Experience with virtual data rooms or Companies House filings would be advantageous
