Corporate Lawyer - FMCG Company

Overview

We're working with a leading FMCG company who are looking to bring on a mid-level corporate lawyer on a full-time basis for the next 7 months, during a period of change within the team.

Responsibilities

• Corporate Legal Advice: Providing UK corporate legal guidance across a range of internal transactions and governance matters
• Finance & Treasury Support: Advising on intragroup funding, loans, and cross-border financial structuring, including dividend upstreams and cash repatriation
• Stakeholder Engagement: Leading interactions with senior internal stakeholders, including Tax and Treasury teams
• Entity Governance & Reorganisations: Supporting corporate secretarial work, reorganisations, and subsidiary-level M&A impacts
• Hands-on Execution: Operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment requiring practical, business-oriented legal advice

Skills required

• UK-qualified lawyer with strong corporate legal experience
• Background in areas outlined above
• Experience working in-house at a large global organisation
• Ability to work independently and engage with senior stakeholders
• Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity in cross-border transactions
