Job Description
Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Healthcoach tocoach and support clients to improve their healthby assisting them in setting realisticgoals anddeveloping plans to meet them. Healthcoaches meet with clients regularly to supporttheirprogress anddirect them to additional supports such as physiotherapyor dietetics & nutrition where required.

We would like to welcome an experiencedHealth professionalto join our growing team. This role will suit someonewith an appropriate qualification in a health-related field such as nutrition, exercise science, health education or psychology.and 2-3 yearspost qualificat ionexperience . This role is onsite at corporate locations in Cork, Limerick, Clare, Galway and surrounding counties with the occasional requirement for digital.

This is a contractor position, which would suit an experienced Healthcoach, confident in their ability to maintain a steady caseload.

What is the role and what will my responsibilities be?
  • Help clients improve their health, by assisting them in setting realisticshort,mediumand long-termhealth goals
  • Assessing their current health via a series of quick checks, and coaching them as they work towards those goals.
  • Complete a series of health checks for eachclient.
  • Create a tailored fitness, nutrition and wellbeing program based on theirgoals.
  • Meet with clients several times toprovidecoaching to help them make long term health and lifestylechanges.
  • Maintain accurate and up to daterecords.
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionalsin a timely manner.
  • Part-take and facilitate in internal studygroups.
  • Meet continuous education requirements and maintain anup-to-dateCPD folder
  • Report equipment repairs to the operationsteam.
  • You may be required to create content and blogs from time totime.
  • You may be required to work with the marketing team and provide them with on the groundfeedback.
  • Other ad hoc duties as and whenrequired.
What experience do I need?
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a health-related field such as physiotherapy, physical therapy, nutrition, exercise science, health education,psychologyor a related discipline
  • Full clean driving license and access to own car (essential)
  • 2-3 years post qualification experience working with individuals directly to facilitate behaviour change/improve health & wellness
    (ideally)
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance (essential)
  • Relevant private practice clinical experience (preferred)
Time Commitment:

This is a part-time, contractor ad-hoc positionwith a geographic remit.
