This position is ideal for a pragmatic, business-oriented legal professional who thrives in complex, high-growth environments. If you are excited by cutting-edge technology and want to influence the future of mobility, this role offers strong impact and visibility.

  • Design, implement, and manage compliance programs covering data privacy, regulatory obligations, corporate governance, and safety requirements.
  • Provide day-to-day legal advice to cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, HR, marketing, government affairs, and business development.
  • Advise on regulatory matters related to autonomous systems, transportation laws, and product deployment across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support external counsel coordination for litigation, intellectual property, regulatory filings, and specialized legal matters.
  • Monitor evolving legal and regulatory landscapes and translate changes into actionable business insights for leadership.
  • Deliver internal training programs on compliance, contracting standards, and risk management practices.
  • Assist with corporate transactions, governance matters, and equity-related legal support as needed.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction or equivalent legal qualification.
  • 5-8 years of legal experience, combining law firm and in-house roles; experience in tech, automotive, mobility, or robotics is highly preferred.
  • Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial and supplier agreements.
  • Proven ability to design or manage compliance programs, policies, or internal controls.
  • Substantive expertise in at least one area such as regulatory law, product liability, data privacy (GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, APPI), or employment law.
  • Strong business judgment with the ability to balance legal risk and commercial objectives in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts for non-legal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross-functional in ambiguous, high-growth settings with strong ownership and autonomy.
  • Bonus: experience in autonomous vehicles, transportation regulation, or public policy engagement.
Benefits

  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
  • Generous paid parental leave and phased return-to-work support.
  • Flexible vacation policy with paid company holidays.
  • Strong retirement benefits with immediately vested employer contributions.
  • Total wellness programs supporting physical and mental well-being.
  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge autonomous mobility technology with global impact.
