Cook/Dining Room Assistant

We are looking for Part time Cook/Dining Room Assistant to join our team in Killarney, Co Kerry.

Working pattern is Monday - Sunday. Flexible various shifts, 20-25 hours per week.

• Ensure the highest standards of Health and Safety and HACCP are maintained in the catering facility.
• Attend any mandatory training.
• Follow any procedures and policies in the workplace.
• Prepare menu items in a timely manner.
• Assist with the catering set up.
• Undertake general cleaning of all areas of the building, including offices, floors, corridors, stairwells and toilets.
• Perform general housekeeping and cleaning around the building; conduct litter control.
• Inform the Supervisor/Manger of stock required for replenishing purposes.
• Report defects, deficiencies or health and safety related issues to the supervisor with minimum delays.

• Previous experience in a food service environment.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Flexibility and the ability to innovate.
• Knowledge of HACCP and ability to implement HACCP procedures.
• Ability to maintain standards, quality and innovation daily.
• Basic computer skills.
• Garda vetting.
