Job Description
The Lord Raglan is a traditional country pub that is under new ownership and management, set on the outskirts of Staplehurst in the Kent countryside. It is currently being renovated, combining period features with rustic contemporary styling in a relaxed setting. We are offering a superb opportunity for a passionate and experienced Chef/Cook to join our small and friendly team, to create a popular menu that enhances traditional quality pub classics.
Responsibilities
A genuine passion for delivering consistent high-quality and well presented food with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Adherence to health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment.
Monitoring and maintaining stock levels, whilst controlling food cost.
Staying calm and effective in a kitchen environment.
Excellent organisation and time management.
Working effectively as part of a team.
Shape the entire culinary direction of the newly renovated pub.
Develop relationships with local suppliers using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
Contribute to the overall success and growth of a newly managed business.
Competitive Salary - upon request
Flexibility to work during 7 opening days including lunch and dinner service.
Start date to be confirmed - end of September/October
