Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shift & Working Hours: 7am-2.30pm (35 hours per week)

Working Weeks: 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days)

Role Overview

This role involves managing a small team of five GAs and cooking primary meals for approximately 250 pupils.

Responsibilities

• Head up the kitchen team, ensuring smooth service operation and adherence to all due diligence.
• Prepare primary meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients at volume.
• Liaise directly with onsite clients and manage kitchen operations.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and food safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experienced cook or chef manager with strong cooking and people management skills.
• Ability to plan and execute meals for a large group of pupils.
• Good communication and team leadership abilities.
• Capability to work within the specified working schedule.
